"Warmer, safer, drier"
Good Neighbors is a dedicated group of UMCR members who meet the 4th Saturday of every month to work on a Good Works home in the Coatesville area. No experience is needed to work with us to make homes "Warmer, Safer and Dryer" except a caring heart, willing hands and a sense of humor!! Please join us.
Our last homeowner was Mrs. Wilson - a grandmother raising her 4 grandchildren. Her home dedication was May 31, 2008.
We are now working on a home in Downingtown. Mrs. Boyer is a Great Great Grandmother (youngest less than a month old) and has been in her home since 1960. Her 21 year old grandson has lived with her since he was a toddler. She also shares her home with her beloved "puppy" Mr. Foxey, 2 adult cats, 2 kittens and 2 birds!!
Currently we are looking for somebody to fill the position of Ambassador on our team. This is not a "technical" position, but rather a "spiritual" position. This person touches base with the homeowner during the month to let them know we are thinking of and praying for them.
