We will develop a loving community of disciples of Jesus Christ by being an "Acts 2-Ephesians 4 Church".

Vision Details
This is a church that is:
- A Devoted Church, devoted to God, to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to one another.
- A Unified Church, unified in the Spirit of God and the things that Christians hold in common.
- A Diversified Church, welcoming different kinds of people with different gifts, talents, and abilities.
- A Maturing Church, growing in our faith, our knowledge of God, and our awareness and use of all our resources, including our time, talents, passions, spiritual gifts and financial resources.
- A Growing Church, adding to our numbers and increasing our ministry to one another and to those searching for a spiritual home.
Vision Plan
Our Plan is to implement Our Vision in all we do, including the following ways:
- Prayer
We want to insure an emphasis on prayer in all areas of ministry in our Church.
This includes:
- The formation of the position of Prayer Coordinator.
- The use of prayer in all meetings and assemblies of Church groups.
- Worship
We want to offer genuine and diverse worship that connects with people. This includes:
- Offering both traditional and contemporary worship styles.
- Offering innovative worship services which may include recovery-based worship and
worship for those seeking a church.
- Youth and Children's Ministeries
We want to expand our ministry to our youth and our children. This includes:
- Enlisting a part-time Children's Ministry Director.
- Providing more resources for the Youth Director.
- Enhancing existing youth and children's Sunday School, Bible Study and Children's Choir ministries.
- Developing new youth and children's programs, including additional mission trips and an "after school" program.
- Encouraging the continuation and growth of our Great Beginnings Christian Pre-School and Kindergarten.
- Fellowship
We want to increase the opportunities for Church members to interact with one another. This includes:
- Small group dinners.
- Regular "coffee and cake" events after services.
- Regular family activities such as movie nights.
- The addition of new social activities and support groups.
- Personal Growth
We want to expand the opportunities for our Church and our community to deepen our commitment to Christ,
to discern our individual spiritual gifts, and to grow in our knowledge of the Bible and living the
Christian life. This includes:
- Adding new daytime Bible Study.
- Scheduling Spiritual Gifts, Alpha, Disciple, Contagious Christian, and other programs.
- Scheduling speakers of interest to the Church and the community.
- Developing a list of Church offices and groups to insure that all members are aware of opportunities for service.
- Creating an emphasis on developing new leaders in our Church.
- Expanding our stewardship commitment of all our resources.
- Missions, Outreach and Evangelism
We want to greatly expand our outreach to the community on a foundation of sharing, caring,
and spreading the message of Jesus Christ. This includes:
- Additional adult, youth and children's missions opportunities.
- Increasing our presence in the community, and the community's knowledge of our Church
by providing additional resources for a Community Outreach Director.
- Scheduling programs to develop the confidence for us as individuals to share the message of Jesus Christ with others.
- Creating a formal program for greeting and following up with visitors.
- Creating improved informational signage for our Church.
- Expanding our Recovery Ministries, including the Annual Recovery Expo, workshops, and 12 Step group meetings.
Our Commitment
We commit to continue and to formalize the visioning process, always listening to the Spirit of God
and to be open to new ideas, new programs, and new visions.
